Office Assistant

Job Duties

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

  • Prepare and draft proposals

  • Manage and order office supplies 

  • Create, edit and maintain work-related documents, spreadsheets, etc.

  • Create bi-weekly payroll reports

  • Maintain website content

  • Plan and organize office functions (e.g., holiday parties, events)

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least one year related work experience

Skills and Capabilities

  • Contemporary office practices, procedures and techniques

  • Proficient at spelling, grammar and AP style 

  • Operate a computer and various software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, BlueBeam Revu, Google Apps such as Drive)

  • Proficient in website content management platforms (e.g., Wix)

  • Operate a variety of office equipment (e.g., printers)

  • Create, organize and maintain records

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships

  • Maintain a reliable and dependable attendance record

  • Provide effective and responsive service to customers and contacts

Compensation

$12-$15 per hour, based on experience.
