Murphy Structural Engineers consulted for Western Water on various phases of improvements to the San Francisco’s Southeast Wastewater Treatment Plant. Various structural design elements included demo and repair of existing concrete structures, developing shoring systems, temporary bulkheads, anchorage design and many construction details for the ongoing upgrades to the existing plant. 

Complex challenges were overcome with unique solutions to keep the plant operating during upgrade construction under very challenging existing site conditions.
